Production Supervisor

Responsibilities:

 

Direct & coordinate the work of up to 20 non-union Production Employees

Meet daily production goals along with safety, quality & delivery

Manage departmental metric tracking

Mentor Production Employees in Best Practices

Participate in corrective action, counseling, and employment related company decisions

Lead a Results-Oriented Team Approach and constantly improve employee morale via effective communication and follow up

Support engineering and maintenance in the troubleshooting of production problems that may arise

 

Requirements:

 

Prefer at least an Associates Degree with a preference for a Bachelor's degree

Minimum of 3 years of hands-on Production Supervision experience in high-volume automotive manufacturing

Prefer experience with metal forming, welding and assembly processes

Strong foundation in Lean Manufacturing best practices

Ability to work any shift

A “hands-on” attitude & work ethic, not afraid to jump in and help with production if ever needed

Excellent communication skills & personality
