EH&S Regional Process Safety Manager
A phenomenal global chemicals company has a critical opening for an EH&S Regional Process Safety Manager. This position is focused on leading the development and execution of process safety improvement plans for over 20 regional manufacturing facilities to ensure compliance with both national regulations and company standards.
In this High-Visibility role, you will engage with regional manufacturing sites and site leadership teams to develop and maintain a strong Process Safety Management implementation program and will instill a world class EH&S culture, focusing on active leadership and employee participation.

Responsibilities:
As new companies are acquired, you will develop site specific EH&S integration plans, engage with EH&S shared service and identify resource support as needed
Will lead a team of up to 4 direct reports
Lead the development and drive the implementation of process safety compliance & improvement plans for all manufacturing locations within the region in coordination with Site Leadership and the Regional EH&S Team
Will establish work priorities and resourcing strategies, in conjunction with the Regional EH&S Director and Site Managers
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, reporting requirements, and company policy
Be an active member of the Regional EH&S Leadership Team, partnering with functional and site leaders to instill a World Class EH&S culture
Lead select networks to promote best practices and develop key Process Safety skills and competencies at the site level
Drive the success of safety goals through training and coaching of managers, supervisors, and production employees
Offer solutions to common safety problems and execute recommendations
Will identify opportunities to standardize EH&S policies, procedures, and training across sites to deliver EH&S process efficiencies
Proactively partner with key stakeholders regarding all safety metrics and issues
Requirements:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
Must have a minimum of 20 years of manufacturing experience in a chemical manufacturing or a chemical processing environment
10+ years of experience in leadership positions required
10+ years of Process Safety Management
Demonstrated experience driving and implementing safety and environmental best practices across multiple manufacturing sites
Prior experience with new business acquisition/integration
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of personnel in the organization
5+ years of prior Operations experience a strong plus
Must be a safety & health technical expert including health regulations and legal requirements knowledge
Excellent communication, organization and time management skills are required
Ability to travel up to 50% within the United States
