A leading global force in specialty chemicals, offering a diverse product range that impacts countless industries is searching for a driven and results-oriented Sales Manager for their $600MM Performance Products Division in Houston, Texas.   • Sharpen Your Acumen: Analyze market trends, identify new business opportunities, and craft compelling customer value propositions.
  • Negotiate with Confidence: Lead the charge in customer negotiations, securing win-win deals that solidify long-term partnerships.
  • Build Lasting Relationships: Forge strong connections with existing customers, exceeding their expectations and fostering loyalty. Develop strategic plans for acquiring new clients and expanding your market share.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work seamlessly with marketing, product development, and other departments to ensure a cohesive customer experience and resolve any challenges that may arise.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage market data and sales forecasts to make informed decisions and optimize your team's performance to achieve financial goals.

To be successful, you'll possess:

  • Proven Track Record: 7+ years of experience in sales management within the specialty chemicals industry (a science background is a plus!).
  • Leadership Excellence: A demonstrated ability to inspire, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Strategic Visionary: A keen understanding of market dynamics and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Commercial Acumen: Skilled in negotiation, pricing strategies, and maximizing profitability.
